Settings
Section titled “Settings”The sliders button at the upper right opens Settings. It contains your Stability connection, credit balance, and the Generation storage setting.
For API key storage and connecting or disconnecting an account, see Stability account. Account credentials are separate from your presets and DAW projects.
Keep unused generations
Section titled “Keep unused generations”Enable Keep unused generations under Generation storage to retain completed candidates you do not accept. For example, it can keep a result when you regenerate or close its unsaved preview.
This is a global preference. Turn it on before discarding a candidate you want retained; it cannot recover audio discarded while the setting was off.
Unused results are stored as WAV files in the Outtakes folder. Click Outtakes in the Samples footer to open it. You can bring those WAVs into a DAW. They are not kit presets, and Hella! Pads does not currently import WAV files back into its pads.
File locations
Section titled “File locations”In Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder… and paste one of these paths. The ~ refers to your Mac user’s home folder.

You can save a kit preset elsewhere. Back up any additional locations you use along with the default Presets folder and your DAW projects.
Free up space
Section titled “Free up space”Use the Samples footer to check export storage and open the Exports or Outtakes folders. Before deleting anything, copy audio used by a DAW into that project and keep any unsaved preview exports you still need.
Clear exports only clears the Exports folder. It does not remove saved presets or pad audio. Manage retained outtakes in Finder. See clearing exports for the full precautions.
