1. Get your API key
Create or sign in to your account on the Stability developer platform, create an API key, and add generation credits. Hella! Pads is free; Stability manages the cost of new sound generation.
2. Install Hella! Pads
Quit your DAW, open the signed macOS installer, and choose Audio Unit, VST3, and/or the standalone app. The initial release requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later.
3. Start creating
Open Hella! Pads in your DAW or from Applications. Open Settings, connect your Stability API key, select a pad, and generate your first sound. Keep the result, then play the pad or assign your MIDI controller.

Trim the sample, save it to a pad, and build a kit around the sounds you want to keep.
